The Evening Buzz edition of "New Band To Burn One To" today features Grant National.

Bio:

Grant National rock hard and play in time. They work their jams into songs about people in trains, fields, banks, on the other side and in the badlands. Not bad for a bunch of Krauts from Cologne. Live, their songs (propelled by a fierce rhythm section, topped with a piercing guitar & expressive vocals) bleed into one dense sonic rendition which so far has left people pleasantly surprised and aski...ng for more. They have shared the stage with bands like P.U.T., Wolves in the Throne Room and Black Elk and have always been asked to come back. A fine debut album has just been recorded with Guido Garcia Lucas in no time. A release date is imminent and Grant National will continue to play live all over the place.
