Today's New Band To Burn One To is Mother of God

Mother of God has since 2008 attracted great attention with their music full of mysticism, grunge, stoner, rock, and brought listeners from all over the world. One of the reasons is the music video "Rebel" and that their songs have been played on radio in Australia, UK, USA and Sweden.
They have supported Dozer and played in Denmark with their greatest stoner band, Sedated Angel. A new EP called "Forging a New Path" will be released in January and will be followed by a series of gigs around Sweden, and then look beyond national borders. A European Tour is planned in the summer.

These guys recently submitted two songs for the upcoming revival of The Soda Shop's online radio. After listening I couldn't wait to unleash these guys unto the rest of the world. This Swedish band are about to unleash their EP, Forging A New Path on January 28th. I really got into music in the 90's with Nirvana, Pearl Jam etc and these guys retain a lot of the sound, especially in the vocals. The overall sound would be as if Chris Cornell's voice was fused with both Layne Staley and Jerry Cantrell with Dozer playing the instruments. Good stuff indeed that MUST be heard!
