From Black Mayonnaise:
The two respective labels who were supposed to release the split 12" with Bowel Fetus and the split 7" with Rigor Sardonicous have been experiencing financial difficulties... so I have decided to take responsibility for releasing both of these myself.
My new "label" does not yet have a name and will be a very small operation with a focus on efficiency and quality. I`ve taken a second job for this purpose and will do my best to make sure both of these releases come out looking very nice. By the time all bands have finished recording/mixing I will be financially ready for getting these done.
The split with Bowel Fetus was supposed to be released on color vinyl, but if the apparent shortage on color pellets continues into early next year, I will be looking into having this on 180 gram vinyl. The two members of BF live on opposite sides of Australia and plan on getting together to record late this year. I`m hoping that all music for this can be mastered and off to the pressing plant by January at the latest, with a projected release date around summer 2009. The run size for this will probably be 300 copies.
I intend to press the split 7" with Rigor Sardonicous on 48 gram vinyl, but I may change this to a 12" instead, either on colored vinyl or 180 gram... this decision is still pending and will be finalized by October. I`m still discussing recording schedules with R.S. but if things go smoothly I hope to have this to the pressing plant early next year. The run for this one will be between 300-500 copies.
To the best of my knowledge the vinyl re-issue of the TTSSATTSR album on THTFL Records should be released sometime in 2009, this will include a brand new track.
I talked with Land O` Smiles and will be waiting for the "go" signal when they are ready to release the Black Lodge Series 12"
I`ve also been asked to once again record the closing track for the second Drum Machinegun compilation on Relapse Records.
There is also more... but this will be announced later.
I`m working VERY hard to take care of everything mentioned above.
I will do my best to keep the Black Mayonnaise myspace current and up to date as best as I can with my limited time.
Thanks for your interest.
