Butcher in the Fog: EP
Turn the treble up, because London's Butcher in the Fog have a jazz tinged guitar tone mixed up with punk energy and heavy psychedelia that in the end form a deranged and digestable form of rock 'n roll, and a good accompaniment for Totimoshi. Busy with bake-offs and trips to the aquarium this trio still make time to create some genre defining and truly authentic sounds. Listen to my favorite track Butcher in the Fog below and stay tuned, because rumor says there will be a full length out later this year...

Keep Your Opinions To Yourself: Undiscovered Country of Old Death and Strange Year in the Frightful Past
Wow... that's a mouthful. Keep Your Opinions To Yourself are from New Hampshire's coast and tout a pleasant mix of ethereal sludge and psychedelia in a clean, post-metal package. KYOTY composition remains original in a crowded house of post-metalers except for track seven entitled 12. Here we find an enormous influence from Pelican's The Fire in Our Throats Will Beckon the Thaw, and if you're knowledgable about this album you know this is a good thing. Check it out at bandcamp and be sure to watch the video below of album opener 14.
