Today's New Band To Burn One To is The Muddy Reds.

It's a sweltering summer day...you're cruising down a dirt road in an old pickup, windows down, switching between a Creedence 8-track and Motown's Greatest Hits, when suddenly the sky turns red and you realize you've been on Mars.

That's how you can describe their sound. More realistically, I found them to be a mix of early Rolling Stones and some Robin Trower. Very cool sound indeed. There's 9 tracks to stream on Bandcamp but you can also download it for free and get a 10th track. Look for a full write up here.
