Interesting New Genre: Doom/Hip-Hop??

This dude sent me over some pretty crazy shit to hear. The project is called Mondragon's Baleful Eye and is what he describes as Doom/Hip-Hop. Not my cup of tea, let me hear what you guys think. Check out the link below.

    I'm not really hearing any "hip-hop" in the song. It sounds more like slow industrial music if anything. Not bad in my opinion.

    Jason beat me to it. Is the hip-hop supposed to be the drumming? Because it just sounds like doom to me. It's not bad, but not the fusion I expected
