Bio:
The story of THOUSAND CODES started in 2010 when three close friends from Nantes (France), each having varied musical backgrounds, made up their mind to become a band to share their passion for rock music and whose rallying point would be stoner-rock.
Soon after, they were joined by a fourth member sharing the same passion and enthusiasm.
THOUSAND CODES was born.
A few months later, the band decided to move forward and recorded its first EP A Womb For Horus" with the first four tracks they had written.
Today the band is driven by the same crave for gigs and decibels.
Created in October 2010, Thousand Codes finds its origins in the meeting of four friends and musicians from Nantes and Paris (France). After an intensive rehearsing and composition work, the band gave birth to its first EP in May 31, 2011. "A Womb For Horus" is a child with special colors, which opens to all the stoner-rock fans thanks to its power and intense melodies. Built around vocals both fantastic and provocative, the band develops a mind-blowing, sharpened and edged rock, powered by a certain groove, a perfect reunion that the band likes to name "Post-Stoner".
"Centered around the raw and explosive vocals by a man simply known as B, French band Thousand Codes serve up an exceptional tasting of what the band has to offer. Self-proclaiming their sound as post-stoner, the band befittingly combines straight forward metal grooves with 70's inspired classic rock riffage."
The band currently has their latest EP "A Womb For Horus" available for streaming and purchase on Bandcamp.
