The "New Band To Burn One To" today is Omean.
Omean are a band from New Orleans that recently formed in October. Members include Ryan (former vocalist of Zync and In Every Nightmare), Greg (former guitarist of Organized Hostility and Drone), Steve (former guitarist of The Oggin), Eric (former member of the Robert Fortune Band), and Brandon on drums. The band has some tunes up on their MySpace page to check out and are currently in the studio working on their first full-length.
My 2 Cents:
Imagine yourself stuck in the bowels of a Louisiana swamp with Satan grabbing at your ankles trying to pull you down to hell. That is the feeling you get when listening to Omean. The band provides some pretty chilling down-tempo grooves along with bellowing throaty vocals for a compelling listen.
Recommended if you like these bands: Eyehategod, Crowbar, Acid Bath, Grief

New Band To Burn One To - 1000mods
As also seen on The Soda Shop
Do you like down tuned psychedelic desert stoner rock? If you do then chances are you'll like our next New Band To Burn One To.The band is from Greece and they're called 1000mods.
1000mods is a psychedelic stoner rock band from Hiliomodi, Greece.
They formed in 2005 and after a few changes the final lineup was made up in summer 2006. From that time and later on they have played numerous live shows and sometimes they accompanied bands like Nightstalker (greek stoner rock legends), Brant Bjork and My Sleeping Karma. They tend to impress everyone that attends their shows with their commitment to vintage equipment, their thick and heavy analog sound and their remarkably passionate performing on stage.
In the beginning of 2007 they released their first self-financed EP named "Blank Reality" on CD, and now - December 2009 - they strike back with a brand new 7” EP titled “Liquid Sleep”. Available on colored (light green) vinyl.
You don't really need to burn one to enjoy these guys. Hell, their music will do it for you. The down tuned psychedelic desert stoner rock is about some of the best you'll find without listening to Kyuss. You can purchase their 7" EP from many fine mail order website worldwide including All That Is Heavy. I couldn't find their demo anywhere to purchase. Perhaps the band can upload it to a Bandcamp site for download (hint hint)? The demos are available for free listen on their Myspace page. Check them out.

New Band To Burn One To - Swan Messiah

The next New Band To Burn One To Comes to us all the from the land down under. Melbourne Australia to be exact.
From the searing heat of summer time concrete to the winter grey skies of Melbourne's bubbling underground molasses of Doom and Metal arrives "Swan Messiah". Arising from the silver brown muck of Port Philip Bay is a difficult path for a feathered beast, but such a struggle brings with it a weight of sound, a depth of beauty and a height of aggression rarely heard in such a combination.
Formed as a solo pursuit in 2010, "Swan Messiah" is the creation of a man driven to spew such dark lava from his mind in response to the ever increasing influence of commercial interest and greed on the world around him.
The forthcoming debut album "Languid Motion" is due for release mid June so as we wait in doom fueled hope for the coming of the Swan Messiah, fold the abrasion of gloom to your fading carcass and submerge your soul in this here sublime liquid metal. A dark force is by no means an evil one, but a current that flows stronger beneath the heart of a loner.
Swan Messiah is the solo work of one Matthew McKenzie. He plays doom inspired rock and it seems to have a bit of drone and psychedelic rock mixed in. His voice is a little higher pitched and reminds me a bit of Layne Staley. Almost Alice in Chains sings doom. The Myspace "about" states that the album Languid Motion is due in June, its almost August and there was no sign of being able to purchase the disc. Perhaps the usual music delays have claimed another victim. The music that is on Myspace is very promising. I don't know if they are demos or final cuts of music but I like it.

New Band To Burn One To - Planet Eater
As also seen on The Soda Shop
The next New Band To Burn One To comes from Albany, New York. the band is Planet Eater and they play a very fast and heay metal style in the same vain as Weed Eater or Bonzilla.
Like the tastiest of calzones, Albany NY power-slop band Planet Eater will leave you in a greasy coma, begging for more. Stuffed to the brim with guitar riffs as delicious as the finest mozzarella, you’ll be trying to get the stains out of your clothes for weeks. Nothing compliments that tasty mozzarella than just the right amount of creamy ricotta cheese, just like how Planet Eater’s earth shattering rhythm section gives the shredding just the boost it needs. One would think, and rightly so, that this savory combination of tasty dough and cheese would satisfy even the most finicky palate. However, just as any fine eating establishment, P.E. does not skimp on what is important to the true calzone fan; steaming hot vocals dripping with marinara soaked brutality that will leave any listener praying that their belly could never get full.
My take on them is this: very heavy, have a few drinks, hit the mosh pit and start beating the shit out of each other. They have an up in your face style and don't care what your mother thinks about them.Their music speaks in volumes and really gets your blood pumping. Oh, buy one of their shirts. They kick some ass too!

New Band To Burn One To - Geronimo!
As also seen on The Soda Shop
The next New Band To Burn One To is from my hometown Chicago. The band is called Geronimo!. Their style of music is a pretty unique style of rock. It seems to borrow elements of psychedelic rock, and a little progressive while borrowing elements form 60's rock. It's a sound that has to be heard to really get a grasp.
Thanks to the band for allowing us to hear what they have to offer and even allowed us to offer a track for free from their current album, Fuzzy Dreams.
The track is the lead track off of the Fuzzy Dreams album titled "Thunderbattles." the link is a Megaupload link.

Their "sounds Like" portion on their Myspace states the following: "These three refugees from Rockford, Illinois -- ranked among the ten worst cities in America by no less of an authority than Money magazine -- mix a pop-punker's obsession with melody (and reedy vocals) with heavy dynamics (these boys likes to play it LOUD). Their penchant for fuzz 'n' thump (dig "Kicked Out the Fear" on their Myspace thingy) is indicative they listened to the same Tull and Sabbath platters from the '70s as Soundgarden did, but their thrusting forward motion on "Design Yourself a Heart," which features a guitar hook that might well have been cribbed from the mighty Me-Thinks' "Speedhair," sounds for all the world like the Violent Femmes on crank after they stole Cobain's distortion pedals."

New Band To Burn One To - Mona De Bo
The next New Band To Burn One To is a two piece band from Latvia called Mona De Bo. They play a down tempo experimental drone music. Think of a droney Om.
The bad has released 2 albums so far. The latest one, 'nekavējies, šīs ir spēles ar tevi' ('don't hesitate, you're already part of it') is available for both purchase as well as a FREE digital download available straight from the band.
My personal take on it, it's good but it's very experimental. If you're not open minded with your music or don't like drone music, this isn't for you. Still though, it's well worth the download. If you like it, follow the link on the band's Myspace page to purchase it and while you're there, tell them thank you.

New Band To Burn One To- Cultura Tres
The "New Band To Burn One To" today is Cultura Tres.
Cultura Tres has its origins in Venezuela. With the first EP "Seis" (2007) the band already outgrew the South American continent, landing European support slots for bands like Pro-Pain and even being invited to perform at the world release show of Gorefest's "Rise to Ruin" album in their homeland the Netherlands. The quick growth of the band should come as no surprise, since the four band members possess skills and experience gained from years of writing, recording and performing in different bands; with some individual highlights including Rock Al Parque for 80,000 people (Colombia), Ozzfest, Hodokvas Festival (Slovak), Rock TV Night (Italy), the "Chaos AD" tour of Sepultura (South America) and a variety of albums and video-clips that met with critical acclaim.
Encouraged by the excellent response to the EP, the musicians locked themselves in the studio for a year of rigorous composing. In October 2008, the band released debut album "La Cura" in South America, gaining them a hurricane of media attention.
After a release tour through homebase Venezuela, the band was invited to a showcase in London. There they were spotted by Metal Hammer magazine, who selected Cultura Tres as the month's global metal discovery. During their stay, the band was offered additional shows in mainland Europe, enticing them to stay longer and prepare for a European release of La Cura. Cultura Tres started recording the videoclip for their European single "And Then I Woke Up" in Holland. In the mean time, the debut videoclip of South American single "Libertad" (recorded in Venezuela) burst through its intended boundaries of South American music television, when it was picked up on internet. As a result, it also attracted the attention of important magazines in Europe and even Japan, each praising the album for its dark and original music.
In the summer of 2009, in between festivals in Holland, Cultura Tres went back to South America for a promotional tour in Argentina, furthermore proving their hold over the continent. Shortly after, the entire band received a full endorsement from Ibanez. In December 2009, with the release of their third clip “Crosses and Lines” they kicked of their world tour in Venezuela. Now, with European and Japanese release tours set for spring 2010, the future for Cultura Tres looks brighter than ever… Don't miss this chance to hear the new sound of South American doom!
My 2 Cents:
How ironic is it that a band starts off their latest album with a song called "A Brighter Light". This proggy doom band is far from being light. Complete darkness rules the world of Cultura Tres. The vocals bark, the riffs crush. Think Puya , Mars Volta and Alice In Chains meeting up in a dark alley with machetes and maracas. I love this shit!

New Band To Burn One To - EndName
The Next New Band To Burn One To is Russia's very own EndName. They play post-metal/sludge/math-doom instrumental music like Neurosis, ISIS, Callisto, Pelican, EYEHATEGOD etc.
About album from R.A.I.G.:What I have listened to on their Myspace page was pretty heavy and brutal. Their description of bands they are similar to are pretty much spot on.I found myself sitting back and mellowing out while still feeling what these guys were playing. After a pretty mellow day this really got the blood pumping and the fists pounding.
"With their first official full-length album, ENDNAME take a serious step to develop their own style of dense instrumental post-doom-sludge metal with electronic accents and a generally bleak atmosphere. Dreams Of A Cyclops proves that the band already knows how to rock hard, but it also shows off their feel for dynamics and for less-aggressive, quieter ways of getting their point across. The band's songwriting approach based on the layered guitars and the melodic alternation between major and minor-key riffing is expansive and massive, but it also includes a more effective background use of synthesizers and noises, as well as the introduction of alien textures - like percussion or didjeridu tribal acoustics - to electrified sonic palette. The tracks tend to be on the long side - between six and thirteen minutes apiece - and in addition to that, they are clearly meant to flow together as part of a start-to-finish listening experience. The album will likely please most fans of guitar-saturated brand of experimental-art-metal who tend to esteem the absence of vocals. (6 tracks - 55 min.)"

New Band To Burn One To - Goliathon
Hello Heavy Planet readers. My name is Bill Goodman. I run the news/blog over at The Soda Shop which was started by and also run by Jake Ball. Stop by and check it out. Enough of the bs, on to the band.
Jake had found these guys and shared the Myspace link with me. It was almost love at first listen. This is truely a very unique band imo.
The band is called Goliathon. This band is from Indianapolis, Indiana. Their style is is that of some pretty dirty, nitty gritty southern rock mixed with some garage rock, classic rock and stoner rock. That's a lot of different styles and it's been done before but mix in a little jazz in the right spots and you've got something special. There's some use of a saxophone, an organ and even some harmonica. The track on their Myspace page called "Cocaine BBQ (Part 2) has a distinct wild west feel to it with the harmonica and as the song goes on starts to resemble a rock song with an added piano as a bonus. The demos on their Myspace page are well recorded, so well in fact that they don't even sound like demos.
Right now I would have to say that this band's biggest weakness is that they have no music available for purchase. Such a shame because these demos are that good. The good news though, the band is currently hard at work on a debut album which should (hopefully) hit by the end of this year. Log into your Myspace accounts, make these guys your friend and follow their blog. I do believe that once their album drops, everyone is in for one special treat.
New Heavy Planet Contributor
Yesterday, I stated the need for a little help with the blog. Today, this dude who has a blog of his own called The Soda Shop offered his assistance with the "New Band To Burn One To" feature. This is great news because any band submissions will now have triple exposure on Heavy Planet, The Soda Shop, and StonerRock.com. Great bands need to be heard and that is why we do what we do. Please help me in welcoming Bill Goodman to the World of Doom collectively known as Heavy Planet!

New Band To Burn One To Feature
With the success of the "New Band To Burn One To" feature, I hope that over the last 3-plus years I have turned some of you onto some great new bands. Right now, I am feeling a little burned out and am not quite sure how I should go about doing this. As I said before, I am a one-man operation, with the occasional help from Toby, but for the most part it is just me. I love to do this, but it is getting a bit overwhelming and I am kind of losing the passion. Right now my backlog of bands is around 27 and I only have time to do 2 bands per week. Also, I don't want the blog to become mundane and people start to lose interest. I was thinking of possibly doing 2 or 3 bands at a time like a "Two for Tuesday" or a "Three for Thursday", but that would kind of blow the whole "New (Band) To Burn One To" thing out of proportion. If anyone has any suggestions, or would like to be a contributing writer hit me up. Thanks for making Heavy Planet the success it has become, I would have never dreamed this in a million years.
Note- I am still kicking around the idea of a compilation CD for charity, still working out the details.

CoC – Blind with Age of Despair, Compression, The Ghost of Saturday Nite and Wrath of Typhon
Ottobar
Baltimore, MD
June 19th, 2010
Wrath of Typhon
When York, Pennsylvania’s Wrath of Typhon took the stage on Saturday night, only a handful of folks had arrived at Baltimore’s out of the way, dingy and altogether perfect rock club, known as Ottobar, to witness their opening set. Upon noticing the Stinking Lizaveta t-shirt adorning the band’s bassist and the homage to the recently departed Ronnie James Dio (R.I.P.) plastered on their vocalist, I figured I was in for an interesting blend of metal styles. Sure enough, my suspicions were confirmed when Wrath of Typhon churned out a chugging, crunchy, riff-fest courtesy of their Pepper Keenan look-alike (weird coincidence…considering) guitarist that, when combined with the singer’s wail (not to mention his stage antics like pointing his finger to the sky or grasping the imaginary evil orb), recalled Dio-era Sabbath to a tee. Wrath of Typhon’s sound isn’t anything altogether new, but it certainly isn’t one that ever gets old either. All told, the band was a worthwhile opener for the evening and a nice treat for the early arrivers.
The Ghost of Saturday Nite
The next act on the bill was the three-piece hardcore/punk act The Ghost of Saturday Nite, who are one of the Raleigh, North Carolina bands (along with Age of Despair) currently touring with CoC – Blind. As the band walked onstage, their vocalist/guitarist warned the decidedly “metal” crowd that they were in for something slightly different, saying “we play punk rock…it’s like metal on heroin…you’re gonna love it”. What followed was a fun and energetic set from the band that undeservedly got absolutely no crowd response whatsoever. Regardless, The Ghost of Saturday Nite’s punk rock swagger and don’t give a fuck attitude shone through as they soldiered on from one blistering song to another, smiling and laughing all the while. The band blended the sounds and styles of SoCal bands like Social D and The Bronx to perfection and in my opinion, offered a nice break in the evening’s lineup for something a little different.
Compression
Local Baltimore natives Compression occupied the middle slot of tonight’s five band lineup. What followed was the type of unique performance that could easily be dubbed a show stealer. Mix the aural tapestries found in the music of bands like Isis and Pelican, the spaz-core freak-outs associated with The Dillinger Escape Plan and throw in a dash of the rhythm and groove of Clutch for good measure and you’ll have an idea of what took place at Ottobar during Compression’s set. People…this may be the discovery of a new genre altogether…let me be the first to dub it Stoner-Math-Post-Metal.
At times utilizing an effects pedal to create echoing loops in his vocals, Greg Scelsi stalked the stage screeching and grunting over the cacophony happening all around him. Meanwhile, guitarist Paul Joyce managed to cram unbelievable solos somewhere within the nooks and crannies of his heavy ass riffs and the thunderous low end created by bassist Mike Albi. To top it all off, drummer Lou Hill delivered an absolute ass beating to his kit, which was situated sideways so the crowd could witness the action in all its pummeling glory. The cracks and missing chunks in the cymbals proof positive that this drum set was no stranger to such behavior. Compression are the real deal my friends, check these guys out if you get an opportunity.
Age of Despair
After such a rousing set from the local boys in Compression, I had my doubts about whether the next band could keep the momentum going for the headliners. Led by former Confessor guitarist Shawn McCoy and featuring guitarist Marcus Williams, bassist Ali Lugo, drummer Abdala Saghir and vocals courtesy of Brian Zucarro, Age of Despair are a throwback to the early 90’s heyday of bands like Sepultura and Pantera. Throw a few sludgy, Crowbar-esque doom riffs into the formula and you have the tasty metal concoction created by these five North Carolinians.
From the minute the guys hijacked the stage on Saturday night, they pummeled the now full Ottobar crowd with the aural equivalent of a military assault. Zucarro led the attack by getting up close and personal, sticking his Doc Marten right on top of the feedback amp and leaning out over the first row of the audience as he unleashed a demonic howl reminiscent of Devin Townsend (which is a very, very good thing). Meanwhile, to his left, Williams and Lugo did their best to make up for their singer’s lack of hair by flailing their impressive mops all over the stage. On the opposite side of Zucarro, McCoy took every opportunity to remind everyone that he is in fact the metal veteran of the group, as he ripped through solo after blistering solo with surprising ease.
With all that chaos surrounding him, you would think Saghir would have struggled just to keep the rhythm of such a furious onslaught. Quite the opposite, the Columbian born drummer seemed to take it all in stride, laying down the beats for this maelstrom with a surprisingly calm and collected demeanor. By the time Age of Despair dove into a stunning rendition of Sepultura’s “Roots” for their finale, the entire room had become a swirling frenzy of bodies, and any doubts I had about the band carrying on the momentum of the evening, were in fact put to rest.
CoC - Blind
If you’re at all familiar with Corrosion of Conformity, then you know that there have been multiple variations of the band that are all very different from one another in both style and sound. Arguments abound as to which version is better…is it the early hardcore days featuring Mike Dean on vocals…or is it the more recent Southern rock sounds of the Pepper Keenan fronted lineup? Well, for my money it’s actually neither. My favorite variety of CoC is in fact the lineup that recorded the legendary “Blind” album (my personal favorite from this band), featuring Karl Agell on vocals, Pepper Keenan and Woody Weatherman on guitars, Phil Swisher on bass and of course, the ever present Reed Mullin on drums.
So when I heard that Mullin and Agell had actually reunited for a tour that would feature “Blind” being played in its entirety, there was no doubt in my mind that I’d be there. Of course, this newer version of that classic lineup isn’t complete, as it doesn’t include Keenan, Weatherman or Swisher. The replacement players are Scott Little (guitar) from Agell’s band Leadfoot and Jason Browning (guitar) and Jerry Barrett (bass), who both play in the solo band of legendary Bad Brains vocalist HR (who happened to be in attendance tonight…how cool is that?). Given that these last three aren’t “official” members of CoC, this version of the band was touring under the moniker CoC – Blind. Confused yet?
The band walked onstage to the eerie sounds of the album opener “These Shrouded Temples…” before Mullin’s shotgun blast drum rolls signaled the beginning to the political anthem “Damned For All Time”, the lyrics of which sadly seem appropriate nearly 20 years later. It didn’t take the crowd long to catch on, as it was evident that nearly everyone in attendance was there to sing along word for word to one of their favorite albums. And so when the band kept things rolling right into “Dance of the Dead”, you could barely hear Agell over the audience members as they sang the opening line in unison…”You’re Dead…”.
The band did a great job of recreating the album live, as I heard no noticeable flaws. Little, Browning and Barrett all played their parts sufficiently enough that, had I not already known the history of this band, I would have had no reason to suspect they weren’t original members. Mullin, who was always an impressive drummer, doesn’t appear to have lost a step in the slightest, as he demonstrated tonight with his maniacal fills and beats. As for Agell, his vocals on the “Blind” album were uniquely different from those of any other era of the CoC legacy, mixing equal parts heavy metal snarl with down home Southern soul. Tonight he recreated those vocals to perfection, stopping only occasionally to let a fan sing a line or two, or to simply say thanks to the crowd for showing up. His appreciation for being able to play with Mullin and sing these songs again was strikingly evident.
As CoC – Blind pressed on, I began to realize with each passing song that the “Blind” album is one that was way ahead of it’s time. The material sounded incredibly fresh to my ears (and by the looks of it, the rest of the crowd agreed with me) and stood firmly alongside all of the great bands I had already seen tonight. This was never more evident than when the band played the most well known of the songs from the album, “Vote with a Bullet”. On the album, the song is actually sung by Pepper Keenan, so I was curious to hear how it would translate with Agell pulling vocal duties. As with the rest of the set, it was amazing to just hear the song live and with the entire crowd singing word for word, it honestly didn’t really matter who was singing.
CoC – Blind threw a few treats into the set as well, like a fun little Rage Against the Machine teaser (the intro to “Killing In the Name Of…”) which they buried between two songs, and their blitzkrieg version of Motorhead’s “Ace of Spades”, which turned out to be an impressive crowd scream-along. And when the dust settled on the “Blind” album, the applause and cheers from the crowd left each of the band members smiling as they exited the stage. But none more so than Agell, who stuck around long after the others had left, shaking hands, sharing old rock n’ roll war stories and signing those well worn copies of “Blind” for fans who thought they very well may never get to hear those songs live again.

New Band To Burn One To-The Re-Stoned
The "New Band To Burn One To" today is The Re-Stoned.
The Re-Stoned are an all-instrumental stoner/psychedelic rock band from Moscow, Russia. In 2008, composer, guitarist and multi-instrumentalist Ilya Lipkin invited a drummer Andrei Pankratov and bass player Vladimir Nikulin to form a loud, fuzzy, aggressive and stomping hard-stoner-rock trio THE RE-STONED. It was, as Ilya said, "a re-turn to the music I've always listened to and loved to play". Despite the band not traditionally fronted by a lead singer and follows the completely instrumental path, they are arguably the most welcomed and popular live act among the Russian classic rock revivalists. At the end of 2009 they self-released a limited edition EP called "Return of the of Reptiles". The band is currently in the studio working on a full-length release slated for a late summer/ early autumn release on Moscow label R.A.I.G.
My 2 Cents:
Keeping up the tradition of all-intrumental bands such as Karma To Burn, The Re-Stoned satisfy the listener with a ton of meaty stoner rock riffage, enough to appease your appetite until their next blue plate special is served.
The band can also be heard on the DIRGENERA COMPENDIUM I compilation which can be downloaded for free at this location.

New Band To Burn One To-Elvis Deluxe
The "New Band To Burn One To" today is Elvis Deluxe.
In 2002 four long-time friends (including even some blood relatives), who had been involved in different bands (mostly HC/post HC/rock stuff like Ahimsa, Coalition, Afraid Of That Day), started to jam together playing what they had a great affection fortheir entire lives: ‘70s-influenced stoner rock.
In 2003 they recorded a demo which turned out to be pretty popular among the slowly growing breed of their fans. Soon they became one of the most active Warsaw bands, crossing all genres, and being present at different types of shows from punk rock to rock’n’roll to hardcore and rocking the nights out like crazy.
Every once in a while they hit the road to gig Poland, Lithuania, Germany, ending up in some Czech clubs, making a nice soundtrack to bar fights.
Easy going dudes took it easy. It took them a while to record their very first full length, but when they did (at Serakos Studio, Warsaw, spring 2006) it turned out to be really worth waiting for. The record is called "Lazy” and well... it really is.
The dudes have charisma and have the skills and even though they’re taking it easy, they take it seriously. Many years of friendship and jamming together made them only tighter and hungrier for good shows and road adventures. They will roll slow and if you stand on their way... well, you can be sure to roll with them.
My 2 Cents:
These heavily 70's influenced stoner rockers from Warsaw, Poland prove once again that rock and roll is truly the universal language. Elvis Deluxe melds juicy laidback riffs and tight fuzzy grooves to make any stoner rock fan want to chill out and go for the ride. Hell yeah! -Reg
The band is currently working on a new CD due out sometime this year, but in the meantime the band is offering their 2007 album "Lazy" for free download at this location.

New Band To Burn One To-Teeph
The "New Band To Burn One To" today is Teeph.
"Hails to Teeph from Chico, CA. At first I thought this was going to be a straight up sludge affair, then this trio reared its ugly grinding head. Teeph traverse many extreme genres, they fuck around with them all, they canoodle with the death and grind, pet the doom, master the sludge and caress the downtuned. Literally, one second they are an angular machine taking sharp turns like Tron in its motorcycle (or whatever that was), the next they are letting the notes fall into a dark abyss. That it works, is an accomplishment. And so Teeph’s appeal is pretty damn broad. Their songs are acerbic, like noise rock gone metal, like metal that knows no NWOBHM, like punk that’s gone awry and hardcore that’s way too dense for the chugga chugga heads, but somehow these songs don’t provide for a fractured listening experience. This is their first self-titled release and Teeph are packing. Nine powerful beasts. Cool cover artwork." Deafsparrow
My 2 Cents:
If you are looking for a band that has a hodge-podge of different styles ranging from Sludge to Experimental Grindcore, but does it very well without sounding confusing and hard to listen to, then give Teeph a thorough listen. I like the direction that this band is going in and look forward to hearing their progression. In the meantime, the band has made their self-titled debut available on Bandcamp. Check it out NOW!

New Band To Burn One To-Hell Reaper
The "New Band To Burn One To" today is Hell Reaper.
Former guitarist of Brazilian metal bands since 1987 and current guitarist in Metal band Mother Zombie, João Pacheco started writing and recording songs in his home studio with Rock and Roll, Grunge and Stoner Rock influences in 2008. Influenced by Motorhead, Tank, Monster Magnet, Kyuss, Black Sabbath, Alice in Chains and Chrome Division, and with the great help of his Mother Zombie mate Rodrigo Cândido on bass, the project decided on the name of Hell Reaper and currently has a 5 song EP available.
The band has made their music available as a free download by going to this location.
My 2 Cents:
Combining elements of NWOBM and Stoner Rock, these two dudes create some catchy melt your face off tuneage.
