Hi all we`ve added some summer shows in Albuquerque, check them out below. Next show on April 17 at Launchpad and should be really killer. A fairly new ABQ band, SABERTOOTH CAVITY, is opening, and they are not to be missed so make sure you get there early! Also on that bill is Albuquerque`s metal darlings ANESTHESIA and OUTHOUSE (featuring Noah Wolters who played keys on our album Antares) This show is only $2.

SuperGiant Updates
From SuperGiant:
It`s been a long time since we`ve sent out a newsletter, we`ve all been so busy trying to catch up on our daily lives after returning from our west coast tour. We had a blast and we would like to thank all the people that came out and all of the venues that took such great care of us. Despite the $5 a gallon gas, the tour was a success and we managed to make enough keep the van full of fuel. There were a few angels along the way who dropped generous donations into our gas donation fund on our merch table. We don`t know who you were but we thank you with all of our hearts!
Next month on August 8, we will have a big party at the Launchpad to celebrate the release of our new album, Antares. We will have cupcakes and a lot of free stuff throughout the night. We hope all of our fans in Albuquerque come out for this one! The Gracchi and Icky and the Yuks will also be performing.
We will be on the Zero Hour Square show on August 1 at 9 pm (Chanel 27) to promote our CD release show. They will be running some footage from this past Saturday`s (July 12) show.
We have been working on some new material and we`re hoping to record an down and dirty EP before year`s end. It will most likely be recorded live and be released on the website for free download. We have half a dozen new songs that will be on this.

"In a dutch orange yellow sky fire of fall 2005 amidst an arid dusty high-desert somewhere on planet Earth, four distinct human-born galaxies collided creating colorful heavy musical fusion. Through burning intergalactic wormholes and the vibrations of their infinite minds the sonic waves of SuperGiant came to life bellowing to the darkest spaces within and without. Some say the very Universe lives and breathes through their bodies and sound, that love has brought them to one another and to the world. Others utter that the Sun lends their souls to musical healing and the very energy that connects us all to ourselves and countless other civilizations. As Antares smiles with joy so the bliss shall find all who choose to listen, feel and reveal themselves through groove. In a matter of minimal moments planets have come and gone, stars have lived and died and SuperGiant have become an undeniable force to intergalactic underground rock."
Review:
I just received this CD in the mail the other day and let me tell you, I am "Super" glad I did. Every song on this album punishes your soul with its by-the-book stoner rock formula. The songs are well-structured and extremely contageous. Joel Roger's vocals kind of reminded me as a cross between the Cult's Ian Astbury and Motorhead's Lemmy. I found myself hitting the repeat button continuously because I was so enthralled. So if you are looking for some really kickass new music to listen to, I strongly suggest this monumental album.

SuperGiant to Release Full Length
SuperGiant will release their first full-length album, entitled Antares, on May 8, 2008. The album features 15 tracks and 72 minutes of music. Song samples can be heard here.
SuperGiant will be hitting the road with LA`s HDR in May for a pacific coast tour from San Diego to Seattle.
SuperGiant will celebrate the release of Antares on June 14 at the newly re-opened Launchpad in Albuquerque, NM.
