Avante-garde Japanese black metallers Sigh will play their first UK show in 13 years during an exclusive performance at Damnation Festival. It will be the first time the entire line-up has ever played on British soil and they have promised to put a special show together for their patient fans.
They will be joined by Aussie grind masters The Berzerker and Welsh sludge rockers Taint on the bill with the legendary Carcass.
Vocalist Mirai Kawashima, said, "We`re extremely excited to play at the Damnation Festival! The last time we toured the UK was in 1995 so it`s been 13 years! Back then we were a three-piece band so this is going to be the UK debut for Mikannibal and our drummer, Junichi. Get ready for the Eastern forces of evil!"
Damnation Festival director Gavin McInally added, "To host not one but two bands who haven`t graced our shores in over a decade is something truly special. We`re also delighted to add brutal death metallers The Berzerker and one of Britain`s finest emerging talents in Taint."
