Small Stone Records Updates

From Small Stone Records:

Well, it is has been about a month since we last had something to say, but now, we have plenty... So here goes nothing...

Adrian and Van checked in with us late last week to let us know that Valis is busy at work with Mr. Jack Endino behind the desk creating the third full length album from the band. The yet to be titled release should be completed by the years end, and we will be releasing it early in 2009. Valis will be hitting the road in support of their new album, as well as making a stop at SXSW 2009 as a part of the Small Stone Showcase.

Moving on, Tommi from Dozer hit us with an email over the weekend to let us know that the band has officially entered the studio to record their new album Beyond Colossal (check out the recording diary here). The album should be completed in the next two or three weeks. We will be releasing the new Dozer album in the fall, and the band also has a large European tour planned for the fall to boot. Funny how that works... We will have tour dates for you very soon.

Iota`s debut album Tales is now here and ready for you.... Come and get it., it is a good one!.. For fans of the heavy and tripped out... We have also added a track from the album to the Small Stone Jukebox. For those who want to check out the whole enchilada, you can stream the entire album over over at Last.fm.

We are very excited to announce the return of Hackman. That`s right, the band has just finished their new album, entitled Enterprises, with Andrew Schneider workin` his mojo behind the board and it is an aural masterpiece. Hard, mellow, dynamic, brilliant... we could go on and on. This album is worth it for the guitar tones alone, but there is more, a whole lot more... Anyway, we will be bringing this one to you early this fall.

Finally, our very own Digital Joey T. has been hard at work on a new site for us which has just been launched. I guess we are finally welcoming the 21st century, but deep down inside, we still wish it was 1972.
