Tee Pee Readies a Week of CMJ

Tee Pee Records will have the following showcases this week at the annual CMJ festival in New York City.



10/21: Night Horse at The Charleston, with Acid Tiger, Pollution, Said Fury
10/22: Tee Pee Records Showcase at Club Europa, with Titan, The Weight, Hopewell, Weird Owl, King Tuff
10/24: Vice Late Night Party at Studio at Webster Hall, with Monotonix
10/25: Tee Pee + Filter Magazine Day Party at Cake Shop, with Weird Owl, It Lives, Bad Dream, Slang Chickens (2 pm; free PBR from 2-3)

Small Stone CMJ Showcase Is This Friday

After pulling a no-show the past couple years, Small Stone Records has decided to once again participate in the CMJ Music Marathon and they will be coming back with a vengeance. The festivities will take place on Friday, October 24 at The Trash Bar in Williamsburg, Brooklyn and will feature the crème de la crème of the label`s roster, as well as an open bar from 8 - 9 PM.

Appearing will be the recently-reformed stoner rock pioneers Roadsaw, hot on the heels of their new album, See You In Hell; raucous power trios The Brought Low and Throttlerod, both of whom have new records due in 2009; St. Louis` Shame Club, whose recent album, Come On, is poised to top many 2008 “Best of” lists; Albany NY`s Ironweed, who has just release its debut long-player, Indian Ladder; and Boston`s Hackman, whose sophomore effort, Enterprises, comes out next month.

Small Stone Announces This Year`s CMJ Showcase Lineup

The return of good sleeping weather, less humidity, and Halloween right around the corner... Yep, it feels like Fall is about to roll in any time now. So, what does that have to do with this here record label and rock music? Well, it means that we are gearing up to release a whole bunch of new stuff between now and the end of the year and we will be returning to CMJ this year (we skipped it last year, for those of you whom pay attention to details like that).



The Small Stone Showcase at CMJ 2008 will be going down Friday, October 24 at Trash Bar in Brooklyn, NY. This will be our first time doing the event in Brooklyn vs. Manhattan. It should be a good time.

We had planned on releasing new albums from Los Natas, Solace, and Sons of Otis this Fall, but they are not 100% completed yet. A safer bet for these three would be Winter 2009. If anything changes along the way, you all will be the first to know.
