NYC Godfathers of sludge Negative Reaction have announced the recent return of drummer, John "Old Mac" MacDonald to the fold. Considered by many as the definitive Negative Reaction drummer, having played on their landmark Under the Ancient Penalty CD.
As the band continues gigging in support of their newest doom metal classic, Tales From the Insomniac (Spare Change Records), they are also working on new material for an upcoming four way split CD with soon to be announced bands.

Negative Reaction Lineup Changes
NYC Sludge Gods Negative Reaction have a brand new drummer, Logan Michaels (formerly of ShadowCast) The band will be hitting the road this fall with Maegashira in support of their brand new CD, Tales From the Insomniac (Spare Change Records).
The CD was produced by Aaron Lewis (When the Deadbolt Breaks, Cable) and sees this three piece monster delivering its potent brand of hardcore psychedelic sludge with a new energy and fierceness.

New Negative Reaction Now Available
Tuesday, June 24 was the release date for the much anticipated new CD from the New York City Gods of Sludge, Negative Reaction. Tales From the Insomniac is a dark journey into the sludge scarred world of Sir Ken E. Bones and Company. Simply put, this is Pure Raw Emotion. Fans of COC, Monster Magnet, Eyehategod, and Acid Bath will be drawn to this soon to be classic.
