SuperFi Records News

From SuperFi Records:

Mob Rules

This lot is from Leeds and sounds something like power violence hardcore in a Man Is the Bastard or Infest vein. We`re releasing their debut 7", entitled The Donor, which is out this month! Listen to an mp3 from it at this link.

They are also on tour:

Mon, Dec 8: Brighton, UK - Cowley Club, with Sh!tty Limits, Reality, Harbour
Tues, Dec 9: Bristol, UK - Junction, with Team Brick, Caricatures
Wed, Dec 10: London, UK - Grosvenor, with Brito, Fashion
Thurs, Dec 11: London, UK - Catch, with Shitting Fists
Fri, Dec 12: High Wycombe, UK - Roundabout, with Sick-O, Hang The Bastard, Fashion
Sat, Dec 13: Liverpool, UK - Cali, with Crowd Control
Sun, Dec 14: Birmingham, UK - Actress And Bishop, with Brain Dead, Doom Patrol, Crowd Control

Go see them before they hit the arena circuit.

Snowblood

The third album is still forthcoming on CD and 2xLP. There are some issues with the printing of the gatefold sleeves which still need to be resolved unfortunately. Apologies to everyone for the delay, but believe me, it will be worth it. Check out one of the songs at this link.

Moss

The primal doom sludgers are hitting the studio for a 12" release, which will give them the chance to complete their work for the 7" we`ve had in the works for years. It will be amazing sonically and visually, and may even smell good too. Should be out in the first quarter of next year.

The Good Wife

We`ll be doing a 7" for this band from Southampton in the UK. A five-piece clearly into making a lot of noxious, churning, adrenalizing noise-rock in a Jesus Lizard, Oxbow, and Stooges manner, with some totally sicko vocals, you can check out some older demo songs on MySpace.

Executive Distraction Tasks

EDT play totally killer modern technical grindcore that goes beyond the limits of human comprehension. We`ll be attempting to capture the frenzy on a CD in 2009. Listen if you dare at www.myspace.com/edtasks.

Geisha

Their second album is out on CD courtesy of Crucial Blast in the USA (www.crucialblast.net) and is picking up rave reviews. The third is in the works and SuperFi should be helping out with that one. Geisha are also planning a UK tour in March 2009, possibly with Ireland included too.

Tractor

The long-planned split 7" with Hey Colossus is still happening. Labels from the States, Scotland and Germany are involved. More news on that soon. If you`d like us to play in your hometown or home country, please get in touch at www.superfirecords.co.uk/tractor.
