Song of the Day-Death Hawks-"Hand of Doom"

"Hand of Doom" is taken off of the latest release "Sweet Leaf - A Stoner Rock Salute to Black Sabbath 2015". While I am not typically a big fan of tribute albums, especially Black Sabbath ones, I once in awhile appreciate a band's interpretation of a song. To be honest, I had never heard Death Hawks before and based on the name of the band and title of the album I was expecting a "stoner rock" sound. While the term "stoner rock" is usually misinterpreted, there are quite a few realy good bands on this release. But back to Death Hawks. This song is a unique blend of this Finnish band's brand of folky, dark and psychedelic meanderings. Pretty cool if you ask me.
